Definitive Diagnosis of a PACNS

The definitive diagnosis of a PACNS can only be made with histologic confirmation.

Probable Diagnosis of a PACNS

When no bioptic confirmation is possible, the probable diagnosis of a PACNS can only be made whith typical angiographic and MRI findings, in addition to CSF findings consistent with PACNS.
