Initial MRI of the brain (A, B) revealed subtle signs of meningitis, MRI of the spinal cord (C) showed no pathological findings. MRI of the brain after admission to ICU (D, E) revealed cortical and subcortical lesions bihemispherically with parieto-occipital emphasis as well as hyperintense signal alterations of the mesial temporal lobes.
