The German Neurological Society (DGN)

What is DGN?

The German Neurological Society, or DGN, is the professional body for neurologists in Germany. With more than 9,500 members, its aims are to establish highest standards of neurological healthcare in Germany and to promote top-level research. To achieve these aims, the DGN supports science and research as well as education, training and continuing professional development in neurology. The society is also actively involved in healthcare policy debates. The DGN was founded in Dresden in 1907, and its registered office is now Berlin.

The DGN Congress

Neuer InhaltThe congress of the German Neurological Society is the key forum for neurological research, further training and discussion in Germany and is one of the world's three most-attended neurology conferences. Its program covers every facet of neurology, ranging from classical to ‘orphan’ neurological diseases, from basic research to clinical and healthcare research.
